For nearly 40 years, we have been teaching kids gymnastics. Today, Paramount Gymnastics in Hillsborough, NJ welcomes families from Hillsborough and the surrounding towns, with preschool, recreational, pre-team and competitive gymnastics, plus Ninja Zone, all under one roof. Our Story

Our owner, Barb Sujansky, has been with the gym since 1987. She became a partner shortly after, took over as sole owner in 1999 and gave the gym its name, Paramount Gymnastics. That is nearly 40 years of commitment to our community. Over the years the gym has grown with the families it serves, and in 2017 we added Ninja Zone to give kids another fun, active way to build strength and confidence. Today we are proud to welcome families from Hillsborough and all of the surrounding communities.

A Program for Every Stage

For four decades, we have built a proven track record across every level of the sport.

  • Preschool. Our Daytime Program welcomes children from 10 months to 5 years, starting with parent-and-child classes and moving into independent preschool classes.
  • Recreational. Classes run from beginner to advanced, so every child can learn at their own pace in a fun, non-competitive setting.
  • Pre-team and competitive. For gymnasts who want more, our recreational program is a natural pipeline into Galaxy Team, our invitational pre-team program. From there, our competitive teams compete in the USA Gymnastics Development Program and Xcel Program.
  • Ninja Zone. Added in 2017, Ninja Zone blends gymnastics, martial arts and obstacle course training for kids ages 3 to 11, building strength, agility and confidence.

A Proven Competitive Record

Our competitive gymnasts and teams have earned local, state, regional and national titles. Our teams’ most recent accomplishments at the USA Gymnastics New Jersey State Championships include:

  • 2026: Level 4 and Level 5 State Team Champions
  • 2025: Level 3, Level 5 and Level 6 State Team Champions, with new state record scores at Level 3 (116.700) and Level 5 (116.875)
  • 2024: Level 3 State Team Champions
  • 2023: Level 3 and Level 5 State Team Champions

Coaches You Can Trust

Our coaches are safety certified through USA Gymnastics, First Aid and CPR certified, and SafeSport certified. Every class is built around steady skill progression, encouragement and safety. Meet the team on our Meet Our Coaches page (coming soon).
